Padel Tennis

Fast ‘n’ furious tennis with an edge

If you haven’t already played Padel Tennis, then you really want to give it a try. And you can do so at Eddie Irvine Sports, which boasts the first two indoor Padel Tennis courts in Northern Ireland.

So how does Padel Tennis differ from normal tennis? Well, the court is smaller and it’s enclosed, plus the net is lower and there are no doubles lanes. And you can leave your racquet at home. Padel Tennis played using a solid padel to strike a depressurised tennis ball and all serving is underhand. This means Padel Tennis is quick and easy to learn and most importantly, it's enormous fun!

The best way to learn about the sport and improve your game is to learn and train with a qualified Padel coach. So make sure you follow our Padel events online and on social media.  And check out Padel Northern Ireland on Facebook. Like their page and you’ll get up-to-date information on competitions and tournaments.
