Our Karting Academy is designed to provide young drivers with new skills in a fun and exciting environment, regardless of previous karting experience.
All equipment is provided.
Halloween Karting Academy
Ages: 8–16 years old
Dates: Monday 26th October – Wednesday 28th October
Time: 9:30am–12:30pm each day
Cost: £100 per driver

The Karting Academy is a structured driver training programme designed to improve confidence, consistency and race craft while keeping the experience enjoyable and competitive.
What's Involved?
The Academy begins with an introduction day and a full safety briefing.
Drivers will then take to the track so our instructors can assess their current level of experience. This allows them to be placed into suitable groups for the remainder of the camp based on their ability.
What Will They Learn?
Drivers will learn the importance of the racing line and the best way to approach and take the corners of a motorsport circuit.
They will also develop their race craft, including how to overtake, defend their position and make better decisions when racing against other drivers.
Using real-world examples from Formula One and motorsport, the Academy helps young drivers understand both the technical and competitive sides of karting.
• Racing lines and cornering technique

Final Day Race
Lap times will be recorded throughout the camp, allowing drivers to see their progress over the three days.
On the final day, the drivers will take to the grid for a race, followed by a podium presentation for the top three finishers.

Important Information
All required safety equipment is provided. Every driver will receive a full safety briefing before taking part, with instruction, training and guidance provided throughout the Karting Academy as required.
To take part, drivers must:
• Be aged between 8 and 16 years old
• Be at least 130cm in height
• Wear suitable closed-toe footwear such as trainers or shoes
All Karting Academy drivers must be signed in by a parent or guardian.
Any medical condition, injury or other circumstance that could be affected or aggravated by karting must be declared to a member of staff before taking part.
For safety reasons, Eddie Irvine Sports reserves the right to refuse participation where we believe it would be unsafe for a driver to take part.
