Eddie Irvine - Owner & F1 Star
Many will already recognise Eddie Irvine through his history in Formula 1, but behind the scenes Eddie has also had a keen eye for business and over the past 20 years has aquired a considerable property portfolio and various investments in local and international businesses. When the previous tenants of our facility on the Balloo Road in Bangor vacated the premises, it was Eddie's dream to form a karting facility where young talent could aspire to greater things, and so in partnership with his father, formed Eddie Irvine Sports.
Edmund Irvine - Director
Having assisted Eddie through his career in Formula 1, Eddie Senior oversees many of the day to day activities at Eddie Irvine Sports. Still enthusatic about young motorsport talent, Edmund can often be found trackside giving advice to karters on better lines and techniques to improve their lap times.
Keith Mallin - Managing Director
Keith has been a close friend of Eddie's for many years, and as Eddie's business empire has grown, Keith has become integral in the business success.
Thomas Fegan - Centre Director
Thomas joined our team in 2008 with the goal of improving our position as the premier sports venue in Northern Ireland.
Christine Naylor - Sales Executive
Having been with Eddie Irvine Sports from the start, Christine now manages sales, bookings and corporate events.
Gary Naylor - Maintenance Manager
Gary has also been with Eddie Irvine Sports from day one and is responsible for our site management, health and safety and condition of our facilities.
Bobby Murphy - Sports Development Manager
With many years expereince in football coaching, Bobby heads up our sports developement programme. Bobby is a UEFA 'A' licenced football coach and also acts as a talent scout for Crusaders Football Club.
Ahmet Yigit - Head Mechanic
Ahmet is repsonsible for the mechanical upkeep of our fleet of BizKart Evo2 karts. With 270cc engines, each producing 9hp after a fuel conversion to LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas), Ahmet ensures all karts are in top condition and have very equal performance.
Nick Whiteside - Duty Manager
Nick primarily looks after the running of many of our karting events and simulator competitions, but is also responsible for various other areas of our day to day operation.
Chris McCall - Sports Delevopment Officer
Chris is one of our senior football coaches and assists Bobby in managing our squad of Football teams.
